The Assistant Commercial Property Manager assists the Commercial Property Manager and Senior Property Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the property. This includes tenant and customer relations, vendor relations, maintenance, administration, finances, and support to the leasing team when needed as well as assisting in supervising building staff.


  • Assist in overseeing the maintenance of the property, as directed by the Property Manager
  • Ensure that operations and books are in compliance to Owner’s policies
  • Responsible for communicating regularly with tenants, clients, and vendors
  • Prepare and maintain all property files, including leases and contracts, in coordination by the Property Manager
  • Assist in collecting rent and ensuring timely payments from tenants
  • Support in managing operating expenses
  • Assist with development and preparation of annual property budget
  • Assist Property Manager in preparing annual settlement of operating expenses
  • Manage the preparation of tenant billings
  • Assist in preparing monthly reports on finances and other status items
  • Conduct periodic property inspections and recommends improvements as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Equivalent combination experience and education may be considered
  • 2-4 years experience of real estate property management or related experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of financial terms and principles required with ability to perform basic financial analysis
  • Experience with accounting software, Yardi preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to provide courteous, reliable, and efficient customer service
